We golfers have many, many options available as we look for that set of golf clubs that we just know will allow us to play like a pro. We can choose from Callaway, Titleist, Taylor Made, Cobra, Nike, Yonex, Adams or Ping just to name a few of the major golf club manufacturers. The golf club manufacturer really does not make much of a difference as personal choice, feel and the basic look of the woods and irons are as much a factor as who makes the golf clubs. I believe it is true that how we feel about the clubs we are using is every bit as important as who made the clubs. I have spent large dollars on various clubs through the years only to be disappointed in how they perform on the course. I have also spent small dollars on clubs I have fallen in love with that have performed very well. After many, many years of searching for just the right golf clubs that I feel make me a better player, I have found a set that is mixed in manufacture but, come together to be the perfect set of golf clubs for my game. My irons are Callaway X-22 regular flex steel shafted 6 through pitching wedge. My driver is a Taylor Made Burner Super Fast White headed 9.5 degree. My putter is an Odyssey #9 White Ice 35″. I also carry a Srixon 3, 4, 5 and 6 hybrid clubs to replace the 2 through 5 irons from my Callaway set. A couple of Cleveland wedges 52 and 56 degree make up my set. I am very happy with what I use now and would recommend any of you interested in some fine equipment that performs well, check out what I am playing with. Oh, I now play to a 4 handicap at age 66.
